We've been waiting for the other shoe to drop. Now we know its coming soon: Trump plans to ban Medicaid funds for youth's gender affirming care. This means less access to puberty blockers (that prevent dysphoria & severe distress) and ripple effects like closing gender programs.

In an act of civil disobedience, a Polish doctor is under review for prescribing emergency contraceptive pills. Unlike the rest of the EU, Poland requires a prescription review for the medication, and it has extremely tight restrictions for abortion.

This "review" will not go well. Under RFK, the FDA is likely to reinstate unnecessary restrictions that will make mail-order delivery harder, especially in states where abortion is banned.

This "review" will not go well. Under RFK, the FDA is likely to reinstate unnecessary restrictions that will make mail-order delivery harder, especially in states where abortion is banned.
Because the FDA expanded access to medication abortion during COVID via telemedicine mail-order, abortion rates have remained steady. But Shield Laws that protect out-of-state providers are under attack. Courts decide this fall (+may affect gender-affirming care).
