One of the dumber pro-Pal accounts. I simply stated why Biden sent arms (per that particular statute) and this is the response. I also said once you understand what the rules are you can work to change them. Just because I know why something was done doesn’t mean I accept/agree with that thing. 🙄

Once again. It’s not deleting. There are different words that mean different things which is why it’s not called deleting.
Detaching a quote on Bluesky does not delete your original post, but it removes your post from that specific quote, making it disappear from the other user's post and your feed in that context, showing a "removed by you" placeholder instead. It's a moderation tool to stop unwanted "dunking" or harassment by disconnecting your content from someone else's commentary without deleting your original post entirely. What it means: • Your post is gone from their quote: The quoted content from your original post vanishes from the other user's view. • Placeholder appears: The space where your post was shows "removed by you" (or similar) for the other user, and "removed by author" for you, says this post on. • Your original post still exists: Your post remains on Bluesky and can still be seen if someone accesses it directly or quotes it in a different way (like by URL). • Not a deletion: You're just breaking the link, not deleting your work, offering a less drastic way to control unwanted interactions than blocking, notes The Verge.
