According to the Farm Bureau, 2024 Thanksgiving Meal was 5% lower than 2023

AND 2025 is projected to be about 25% more than 2024.

Facts matter.
The corporate propaganda machine colluding with the Trump propaganda machine to lie to the American people about Thanksgiving.

I get it. Everyone is busy and can’t make time to attend a council meeting.
So do the next best thing:
1. Follow @hightstowndemocrat.bsky.social and get these easy to read synopsis of the meetings.
2. Bookmark Hightsownborough.com and read the official minutes.

You want a thriving downtown?

Focus on being a draw:
• Raise standards for building owners.
• Enforce codes.
• Beautify your streets.
• Create great public spaces.
• Make room for pedestrians, not just their vehicles.
• Invest in experiences, not asphalt.

Oh you mean the Project 2025 that he new nothing about during the campaign?

Wake up people. This was their plan all along - government shutdown. Now they can cut whatever they want.

President Trump is meeting with his budget director, Russ Vought, about what additional cuts to make during the shutdown, and the president says his targets are partisan.
As the shutdown drags on, the threat of permanent cuts is mired in politics

Staple growing up (and now a constant in my meal rotation): cucumber & tomato salad. Drizzle olive oil and salt pepper and a chopped basil leaf. It pairs well with meats and fish and is delicious.🥒
