Israel can and should appeal the issuance of these warrants, and their shaky legal rationale, to the Appeals Chamber of the ICC (which exists exactly for this purpose). But in the meantime Western nations must uphold the authority of the #ICC. Rule-of-Law in action.

There are good reasons to disagree with the #ICC's rationale. But law-abiding democracies have to respect court's decisions: That means implementing these warrants. I say that without glee, as a broadly pro- #Israel conservative. The rule of law is sacred, not a matter of opinion.
