Flowers thrive in compost.
So proud of them both! THIS and all they represent make America great.

The Portland frogs are way cuter than their frog.

MAGA Antoinette: "Let them eat steak...Trump steak."

Well, this is most ironic...

Thank you for your courage, service, and faith. May you easily prevail and continue to serve the people of NY and this nation against the criminal and corrupt.

Poor Gus. It's clear he has vision issues. Making him catch when he's physically unable to target the treat is cruel.

Try it on lower heat/shorter cook time and a tad more water (1 T). Browning the egg too much (i.e., cooking too high/long) makes it rubbery and harder to turn, as does a too-thick omelet. Keep it softer. You can always brown it more, after turning it, if you like. Good luck! 🍳

Al Franken/Stuart Smiley did it best: "I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and doggone it, people like me."

They're so smart, this is what they want us to think...

Say something we don't know. And do something meaningful.

Women and girls will wait even longer, if aid comes at all. The Taliban prohibits male rescue workers from contact with women, and Afghan women aren't allowed to work in critical rescue and relief roles.... So, who rescues women and girls?

Delighted to read your articles again! A fitting topic for your debut in The Atlantic. One could say same for your writing...

Yes, this is my point, with the added point about stiffer penalties.
September 1, 2025 at 8:20 AM
Sadly and frighteningly, I don't think high viz would have helped in this case. Her level of inattention would have prevented her from seeing a wall in front of her. There needs to be stiffer penalties for behaviors like this.

Profound enough to see this rendered in a cartoon. Real-life images should shake people to the core.

This is wonderful news not only for Seth's jackals but for free-thinking media and democracy!

I'm across the country, but I'm thrilled by this announcement! May you win this race and prevail...

The anti-tote lady...the observing woman...the dropped items...and the guy with the flag at the end. The comedic timing on this one is perfection! 😂

Thank you. If nothing else has alarmed Americans, this post should. The patterns and direction of this administration are undeniable and this post should be a sobering wake-up call even to those who have been naive, distracted, complacent, or even hopeful that the path we're on isn't grave.

Got better ideas? For real, not lame snark.

But it seems the name of a democracy-defending news outlet being cut loose by a large media corporation isn't the problem we should be focusing on...
August 19, 2025 at 12:19 PM
Haven't heard a better idea, though. 🤔
