Another amazing blurb for my upcoming book written by Mark I. Wallace , author of “When God Was a Bird: Christianity, Animism, and the Re-Enchantment of the World.”

This is a wonderful book written with dangerous brio and incisive analysis. But it is more than a book.

What an amazing privilege to have had this long interview with David Mason, an amazing scholar, teacher and editor of Ecumenica, a journal that works on performance and religion. If you open my website below. Thank you David!

I had a wonderful time with Professor Kwok Pui Lan, one of the most important theologian voices in the world today. And Wajcha showed up and wanted to be like teacher Pui Lan. Thank you so much for this gift teacher!

Yesterday I showed my two book projects at Union: one on ritual and climate devastation and one on the Saturday of despair, the day in between Holy Friday and Sunday Easter when the followers of Jesus didn’t have much to hold on to. Both books want to give us ways to survive the end of the world.

I love birthdays! I don’t know about you, but I had this special thing that happened to me: I was born the same day of my birthday! I know! Incredible right? Here’s to being together for another year, in spite of everything.

Very happy to see my name mentioned in this prestigious book. What a surprise! It’s a fair reading. And I am grateful for their mentioning of Jaci Maraschin, Janet Walton and Ivone Gebara as those who have shaped my formation. My deepest gratitude to the authors.

Today is Clown Day. To be a clown is a way of being in the world, of dismissing all possible seriousness by bringing what really matters to the forefront of our lives. With Wajcha, I lean on a full part of myself who really knows almost anything.Wajcha is way of being vulnerable, embarrassing, stupid

Jaci Maraschin was a Brazilian Anglican Priest, a liberation theologian, philosopher, musician, poet, writer of short stories and the most unthinkable liturgies. An artist in fullness! He studied with Paul Tillich and translated his works in Portuguese.

As the American Academy of Religion comes to the end, Wajcha, Formaggio and myself were all very happy! Formaggio became a star and his campaign to be the new mayor of New York next year is growing! With joy and gratitude to all I met at this conference. Here are just few pictures!

Formaggio and I working on Formaggio’s campaign as a candidate for mayor of NYC in 2025. Formaggio already has millions of votes from his people. Now we need to allow them to vote! It’s a matter of justice!
