It's fascism plain and simple. Musk spelled it out yesterday, democracy is gone.

I was uplifted and hopeful when Carter was elected, then was angry when Reagan was elected. I had lost hope until Obama was elected, and then was overjoyed that light and honor had found our country again. I cannot measure my depth of despair with Trump's first and now second election.

I could only watch part of this. I watched it in real time and still carry the horror of watching it.

I think it was willful ignorance, people too lazy to think for themselves, a general disrespect for education that allowed those working to manipulate voters to succeed.

I've heard this opinion often, but I don't believe it. People would rather elect someone who has been convicted on 34 felony counts, two court losses for defamation, owes the state of NY hundreds of millions of dollars in fines, recommended drinking bleach, etc., etc?
