Big news from the Charlotte County Archives! Since September, we have been working to bring our materials online. Today, we made our first upload: the Norris family fonds! Through digitization, we hope that together the Archives and the public can rediscover the stories safely stored in our vault.

CCA is happy to contribute our item “Crimean Flowers” to #archivesuniqueitems! Created by Fred W. Parker for his mother, Mrs. Neville Parker in St. Andrews, the album contains forty-one pressed flowers gathered in Crimea in the first spring after the Crimean war, in 1856. #acahashtagparty
