Trump is king. The Republican Congress is the walking dead. The 8 million people that hated Trump and voted for Biden desided their hatered of Trump wasn't enough to vote for a woman. If we get to vote next November will there even be a prince charming offering a democracy slipper that fits us.

"What the Trump Administration is doing is against the law" a statement echoing throughout the country. Courts try to hold them accountable,but they have no means of enforcement without the very administration they seek to have conform to the rule of law. Will the echo get louder or fade away?

The Supreme Court has allowed Trump to ignore our laws. The Republican Congress says nothing as he ignores presidential norms. The country is watching him cripple and destroy the fundamentals of our government. I'm still not hearing any Trumpers calling for a redo.

The same political party that promoted guilt by association in the 50s is now calling free speech hate speech. Now, who will they choose to lead the congressional hearings that attack our speech?

As an American Citizen, I have voted in every election I was eligible for. I have never knowingly voted for a Republican. I believe Republicans today don't want to govern, they want to rule. To that end, they try to make it difficult to vote and by gerrymandering districts.

Is it wrong to consider and hope for the demise of a king? Is it wrong to hope that evil could be vanquished by truth? Is it wrong to expect that good people would be treated with dignity? Has this country been broken beyond saving? Can we revive by resistance a democracy Republicans are killing?

Trump has become King today with the blessing of Chief Justice Roberts and the other conservative justices. The Republican controlled congress will continue to support and add to his authority. ICE ( Trump's Gestapo) is now free to tear our country apart and suppress resistance.
