Art theft is so common & we're clearly in an era where creatives are getting de-preciated to facilitate slop & profits, it's not surprising at this point. I expect there will be copycats now.

idk if it's the result of ppl refusing or not being educated in engaging in arts & see its value,the enshitiffication of everything & anti-intellectualism that make ppl more tolerant to that slop.

I don't worry much for people who have a big following & are pro or semi-professionnal who can stand their grounds in term of pricing (if they're closer to industry rates) & all of that.
However smaller artists are def going to be targeted by that kind of scams

That kind of shit will def errode trust thus communication & workflow between commissionners & artists, knowing some will upload the sketches & WIPs to have AI "finish" the pieces.
Dont be surprised if some artists decide to share less WIP with their clients if this scam get more popularized.
