I ask you to make a strong public statement in support of trans kids. Not just their right to play sports but their right to exist, to thrive, to receive the care they need. The kids are watching and they are being harmed by leaders who waver when these kids need them most.

Please don’t let politics erase that legacy. Kids deserve to play. Period.

Trans kids also deserve the care they need to survive. Medical professionals agree. Every major health organization supports gender-affirming care. These kids need you to stand with them not against them.

Now imagine being a trans child today, hearing their governor say they don’t belong in sports. Not because of science. Not because of evidence. But because of speculation, fear and politics.

You have been a vocal advocate for trans rights. You have fought for inclusion, dignity, fairness.

Not because of science, not because of evidence, but because people on the internet were saying dyslexic players had an unfair advantage in visual-spatial processing. Imagine being told you couldn’t step up to the plate—not because of your skill, but because of something you never chose.

Swearing is the norm, slamming doors, yelling in one in one’s, women take meeting notes, expected drinking at all hours, late nights, don’t let people know you have to leave because of your kids, really bad behavior on business trips. And no one can complain, they don’t fit the culture and are out.

Just give us all a pardon, we’re all in Trump’s crosshairs.
