#Paradox: deny that climate change exists, then try to control access to resources, territory and shipping lanes made more easily available by said climate change.

📖 You've probably heard of "1984", but have you read it? Not only is it relevant, but it's a rollercoaster ride of a book that I couldn't put down.

The end of the book shows us where we might be headed if we refuse to see the world as it is, and make choices to protect things we take for granted.

📖 Have you read Fahrenheit 451 yet? If not, you should. It's a compelling read & very relevant, so don't put it off until another day.

🔥 A world where power suppresses knowledge (by burning books) and distracts the general public with all sorts of entertainment.. so that they can do what they want.

AI-generated images can be unintentionally comic...

More work needed here... I gave up counting the errors. Prompt was simple: what would a modern railway station look like in Kelso in the Scottish Borders (reversing Beeching cuts)...

Not ready to use it for anything serious yet then.

Great time of year to #learn more #science! 🤩

Added #SolarSystem to my collection of #ProfBrianCox series - #ThePlanets & #Universe.

Straightforward & inspiring explanations, mixing real images & FX. Quite a bit of contemplating on rocks too and a record continuous shot for a sense of scale!

Transport isn't just about cars, going #electric is also an opportunity to reconnect rural areas by reopening disused rail links.

Where I work, our team is also involved in the #Draisy train project with industrial partners.

🔵 Here's hoping for the future!
