I always thought the opposite. Many people are locked in jobs they don’t like because of employer based healthcare. People are more apt to chase their dreams and innovate if they’re not locked into company plans.

Maybe we can’t have windmills because it screws up Santa’s journey. That makes as much sense as anything else.

Thak you Tom. I subscribed to the Atlantic after reading many of your free links.

While I agree with you I am not sure I can take three more years of this.

Because someone told him he had to answer to the American people. That’s what he hates most.

At times like this I wish I still had Fox News so I could go witness the cleanup of this disaster.

If things are so great, why is he so pissed off?

What is the NBA cup?

Graham in 2015.

Biden is “the nicest person I think I have ever met in politics” and “as good a man as God has ever created”

What changed Lindsey?

Someone should start a fund to reverse everything that he has done, tear down his Arc, his new ballroom and everything he puts his name on. Make sure it is funded privately, so as not to take money away from important programs.

The good news is, I don’t think anybody gives a shit what Nate Silver says. I am fascinated that you don’t let anybody reply to your posts that isn’t following you. That doesn’t seem like a sincere way to advance the conversation.

She made sure to get in her performative shot at Biden.

Add castigating America’s youth for not obtaining their drivers license the minute they are eligible.
December 13, 2025 at 3:25 AM
You are probably right, but Paramount’s content sucks so we have that going for us.
December 9, 2025 at 5:19 AM
The last I checked media companies need to have customers. Unless they can compel us to buy their product we can make this an unprofitable venture for them. I will not touch Paramount with a 10 foot pole and will stay clear of Warner Bros / HBO / CNN until this gets settled.

Am I the only one who likes ND more after their bowl boycott? The system is corrupt. Before the bracket release ND had the fourth best odds to win the whole thing. I would prefer having the 12 best teams.

Next week they’ll have Kristi Noem on saying that like her dog, the merciful thing was to put them down.

I had the same debate with my Dad. I always thought the message was that nature generally does not like walls. Like great poetry it is thought provoking. One of my favorite things about New England is the old stone walls. They were as much about clearing fields for crops, as building boundaries.

Something there is that doesn’t love a wall

That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it

And spills the upper boulders in the sun

And makes gaps that even two can pass abreast.
December 6, 2025 at 11:08 PM
Yes, but I would much rather they own HBO than Paramount.

FIFA and the Trump organization. What could go wrong. Two of the most corrupt entities in the history of mankind.

This kind of felating would make Kim Jong Un blush.

I like Dan Quinn. He seems like a really good dude and very good coach. That being said, he sure ends up on the short end of a lot of these games, that still puts him in the top 1% of football coaches, but I’m not sure he’ll ever get over the hump in the NFL.
