Yes, I enjoy Hemingway, but I can't say I've derived any inspo directly from his work. From my time there, though? -absolutely. Jimmy never had a chance with me. Working on Duval street where all you hear is his top 5 kinda kills the music for you by the 5th rendition of "manatee woman" of the shift

The time there? No, not originally, but I've seen my fair share of Hemingway Days festival lookalikes and my cats are bonified Hemingway strays. The Hemingway house is beautiful. I worked at a cafe right next to it serving breakfast smoothies to a mix of the same 10 Jimmy Buffet tunes on repeat. 😂

True. I never get hot like that, though. All those years in the Keys thinned my blood.

I'm glad you like it and I understand your reasons. They're the same reasons I considered the switch. For now, though, I don't have the time/energy to devote to a platform I don't like on the off chance it might get better in the future. I'll post book updates here but it won't be my daily hang.

We did! We went to Tractor Supply, a farm and feed store, and he got to pick out new snacks, toys, and a new bed. Later, we went for burgers and nuggets at a dog-friendly patio. He flirted with the ladies and hammed it up for everyone that looked his way. He's the best boy and he knows it, too. 🖤
