I’ve been avoiding Amazon as much as possible. Doing Christmas shopping this week, hopefully I can get everything in person locally. Algorithms are a scourge on society.

I’m cautious about getting invested in any tv show these days. So many fun ones get cancelled.

Patience is a virtue, but not one of mine.

Not even the Americans, the private companies that have been proven to manipulate, use, misuse data to push their own narratives. It’s so obvious they shouldn’t have access to our health info. Having our info be stored/ owned in a foreign nation where our privacy laws can’t reach just adds layers.

Yet another aspect of heath care that suffers because governments didn’t want to spend the time and money developing solutions themselves. It shouldn’t have taken a hostile US gvmt to make us realize how short sighted our own leaders have been.

It is absolutely ridiculous the amount of social pressure to have that big showy wedding though. Especially from and amongst women. The wedding industry is toxic, but it has a lot of help in creating that.

Glad he will still be writing for WFP, Dan Lett’s columns are well written and insightful. Boo that he’s leaving, but I wish him and his wife well in their new life.

A coworker went to Fargo in late Feb, she said citizens there were openly giving them thumbs down signs when they realized they were Canadian. Many voters there believe Trump’s lies, imo they can just deal with the consequences.

Gross.
