It is too difficult to get my 11yr old to finish a book, even when promised seat on my podcast.

Podcast Update!
It is too difficult to get my 11yr old to finish a book, even when promised seat on my podcast.

The shoulder season at work is slowing down a bit but I’m just getting over a bad cold so I don’t know when I’ll record, but I think I have an idea for my next podcast episode.

I spent four hours weeding my front flower beds today and it looks soo much better, even though I’m covered in cuts, sweat, and have a headache. Not done, but better. #gardening

I’ve at last finished rewriting my zero draft so I’m back for #5amwritersclub ! Well, at least I’m trying to be. Polar Bear is making it difficult.

Today’s organizational hack: I grabbed a bin for my kids’ artwork and a clear vase for earbuds I found lying around. #feelingproductive

When people talk about a go-to pattern they can knit all the time, I think of the WWI Red Cross sock pattern. I made a pair for my hubby and it is by far the one I talk the most about. Can’t wait to make them again!

I don’t know how this will turn out. Knitting a boule de Neige stitch I found in a Weldon’s practice knitter magazine with fingering yarn from Forbidden Fiber Co in the Mother of Yarns shop’s signature color way. It looks pretty so far!

Ahhh just realized I’m not going to have enough of this color yarn to make this stripe much larger and having trouble finding more. Hopefully, weather permitting, I’ll be able to make it to the yarn store on my day off
