When I served, we were told by our leaders to disobey an illegal order and to raise it to the chain of command, and a courts martial (if that’s what frat boy Pete wants) will tell him, this is how the military operates, disobeying illegal orders because we have morals.

To stand against him is to stand against the UCMJ, which states any soldier has the obligation to disobey an illegal order. That was made clear to me as a young Army recruit.
To stand against him is to stand against the Constitution and UCMJ and say illegal orders are ok.

As an Army veteran, my oath explicitly allowed me to disobey illegal orders, even from my superiors, something that was clearly explained to me. Sedition is storming the seat of power trying to stop a constitutionally mandated process.
