IMO it’s her Dem colleagues & so-called allies hanging her out to dry. Your argument about not taking up TV appearances from other LGBTQ advocates is absolutely valid, but she can NOT win as the “voice of trans people”. We need cis allies in power for that, she’s right to pick her battles.

I had to stop reading the EO bc I was starting to have a panic attack. We knew this was coming but seeing the cruelty written out in black & white was more than I could handle (as the parent of a trans kid).
