Workplace safety should NEVER be optional. Working people need a strong National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health so they can go home at the end of the workday safe and healthy.

So everyone's clear: this is a bald-faced lie.

The "required notice" was in fact, a TERMINATION notice required by the WARN Act (one of the few laws compliance is being attempted for) which mandates notice for mass layoffs. NIOSH workers have been placed on admin leave- no work will be conducted.
