So last week, my daughter went on a sleepover and came home with a baby corn snake. As you do. This is Lemon, and my cat would very much like to eat him, but I think that would be rude (especially as Lemon is so cute). Anyway, we're a snake family now, and we're very pleased about it.🐍

My kids found me this awesome piece of premium Buffy nostalgia in a charity shop (they know me so well). I had no idea it existed. Did every movie made in the 80s and 90s get its own novel? (I think the answer is yes...) WHO WILL STOP THE VAMPIRES STALKING L.A.??

This Joe the Sunflower. He's been mauled by slugs and bloomed late, but he's the first sunflower I've ever successfully grown. Today, I am a proud sunflower parent. 🌻😁🌻
Joe the sunflower blooms in front of my garden fence. He has beautiful yellow petals and a suitably sunny face, but slugs have chewed his leaves to ribbons and stalks.
