Grapes of Wrath….DULL DULL DULL…only so many times you can read descriptions of dust bowls before you lose the will to carry on. 😂

TKAM one of my all time favourite books, ever…I actually quite enjoyed LOTF - though found it very disturbing!

To Kill a Mockingbird: absolutely loved this book - and have re-read so many times since school.

Several by Charles Dickens: the stories were actually ok - but the books are far too long & boring. I watched the old b&w film of Tale of 2 Cities , rather than reading the book…still passed my exam!

I watch Richard’s House of Games instead of the evening news…far better for my brain! I still keep myself away of what’s going on in the world, but without all the fluff, hyperbole or bias of tv news broadcasts!

I have ‘read’ around 40 books in the last 12mths, via Audible & BorrowBox (which is amazing btw); probably about 35 more than I would have read-read otherwise! I listen while driving, while cooking, while walking. (My 13yr old nephew pointed out that I’m not learning to spell though! Lol)
