This isn’t even about me. This is fueled by having seen the backend of the SEO industry right before AI and during the AI wave and not being able to engage with the internet in peace ever again.

Also Reddit isn’t a great solution. A lot of low budget SEO companies learned it’s a good place to drop free backlinks to make their quarterly reports look better. So.. no you can’t trust that shit either by default you do have to double check.

Like I know we’re all subscription and login fatigued and don’t want to provide emails or reviews and shit but direct your anger at the major companies that made it impossible for indie companies/creators to do fucking anything without being a little annoying.

It’s so rough out here. And it’s only getting worse.

Please be patient with small(er) businesses who have to play the game to some extent and can’t afford influencer promos and major blog link slots.

Have no mercy for mega corps with excessive budgets that skew the results you get.

Maybe chapters and posts will have inconsistent schedules. Maybe I'll be flopping around learning how to balance it all and also launch a better promo strategy. I don't know how any of that will go.

I went at a really steady pace for the first half of the year and then came to a grinding slowdown in the second half.
