An oldie, a hawk moth in pen and ink from college days. The original is only about 2.5 x 4 inches.

Another dog walk bonus.
I’ve long wanted to find one of these. It’s an ear pick fungus, #auriscalpiumvulgare that grows on pine cones. In looks a lot bigger in the photo than it actually is, about 1cm tall with the cap about half a cm wide. #ukfungi #pineconefungi

Fantastic autumn sun through the trees this morning. Looks more like spring with the bright greens.
