In order to change your settings for posts you can see you have to go to the bluesky moderation profile and change it there. It’s not found in user settings. Here you can make it so you can see adult content without a warning or whatever. Very strange they organized it this way. @moderation.bsky.app

Appeals used to work but now they do nothing. It seems that the system automatically applies the highest level of adult content to anything remotely nsfw, even if not explicit. It’s really annoying that you can apply your own tag and bluesky proceeds to apply the adult tag on top of it. It sucks.

If folks really want to rely on an algorithm to provide them with content, idk why they don’t just stay on twitter or some other platform. The appeal of this site was the lack of an intrusive algorithm feeding us slop and the ability to easily and cleanly see all the posts of the people we follow.
