Finally done with my Gale portrait.

I recently saw a TikTok video that showed a mother delivering a Victim Impact Statement about the profound effect of her son's murder on her life and that of her grandchildren. During the statement, she promoted her book about the event. At first, I was appalled by the mother's exploitation of her son's death and using her appeal to the judge for justice to advertise her book. But, I was forced to consider the broader context of our world, where the struggle to survive often forces individuals to capitalize on their personal experiences, relationships, and grief. We're truly living in the Black Mirror, selling our souls one like and subscribe at a time.

I recently switched from SketchbookPro to Clip Studio Paint, so I'm still playing around a lot with the software. I take screenshots while I draw to send to my partner because I get excited about how it develops, lol.

Thinking about making rogue or pirate Astarion. But I can't decide on his hair.

I love his regular hair, but thought long hair might be fun. And then when I was drawing it, the longer bangs looked cool, too. (But is it to a-line bob-ish??)

Oh yay. I've drawn Clover in her favorite wildshape form, a jackalope.

She and Halsin regularly wildshape and hang out. They eat their favorite plants, nap, etc. Astarion loves to cuddle her bunny form. Gale makes jokes about a wizard pulling a rabbit out of a hat.

Clover and Halsin are very playful together. They can allow themselves to be silly with each other.

Astarion and Clover both understand being touched adverse and go slowly with meaningful touches.

Gale and Clover are big cuddle bugs together. 💜
