We're in Hillsboro and love it up here. Aren't you glad to be living in one of the few somewhat sane states? I have a friend in medieval Alabamistan. It's like another country down there.

If you hang your flag upside down in distress, no one will think that you're MAGA. That's what a patriot does in a time of constitutional crisis. It really sucks that a cult changed the meaning of hanging a flag, but I wouldn't want to be confused with the bad guys.

When you're a female, it's the gravity that really gets you. It's scary what happens when you get old. Only on the space station would I pass the pencil test.

It's just an aesthetic thing. They are designed well, or the world wouldn't be so overpopulated.

What a beautiful shot! Wood ducks are stunning. I saw a pair of wood ducks the other day, riding my bike by the Fernhill Wetlands in Forest Grove, Oregon.

We have the same problem here with great blue herons. We've tried everything. Now we just buy about 100 baby goldfish a year, and some of them actually end up getting big.
