Every once in a while I manage to finish an illustration that isn't work! Incredible!

I'm going through an old art folder and this piece is pretty old (2016? I think) but I still like it so much. There's a rawness that, at the time, I was using to mask my lack of skills but I think it works well and I kinda miss it. It's weird to find something I could learn from my past self.

I've been doing a deep dive into Italian Advertising in the 50s and I fell in love with Studio Stile's (Carmelo Cremonesi & Gian Rossetti) posters. The illustrations feel so modern!

(Fun fact: they're responsible for the Nutella logotype)

I very much struggle with keeping up an online presence, so I'm posting this here where only 2 people are gonna see it. Very intimate! Anyway this is for an illustration class because I decided to get a degree in my late 20s. I really enjoyed the process for this one!

For the past year I've been dipping my toes in the world of sculpting and dioramas. I'm still in shallow waters, these things take time and this year has been quite eventful, but I'm having fun!
