And lastly (for now), we have Wolverine #1, The Dark Knight Returns, Avengers 75 - The Vision, and Spiderman 50.
Though I haven't done one of these in a while, if you'd like to commission a comic cover, I'd be delighted to work on it for you!

Probably the most fun was the Stan Lee Mr. Marvel card from the Marvel Universe Trading Cards (1990). And I ended up getting it signed by Stan himself at Boston Comic Con in 2015. The Killing Joke and Watchmen covers were extremely popular. 2/3

Zombies are a lot of fun to create in buckskin, since the warping of the hide only makes them look better. Or worse. Depends on how you look at it, I guess. 😅
Bicycle Girl based on Melissa Cowan (who portrayed her). The other zombos recreated from #TWD rear covers (25 and 26), by Cliff Rathburn.

You're not alone. Many times that's the first thing anyone comments on. 🤣

Here are some closeups of the map, as well as the tip of the Elven Bow I carved and Mallorn leaves to hang it from.

Over the next few years, at Walker Stalker conventions, I met many of the actors and had them autograph the piece, including Scott Wilson, Madison Lintz, Jon Bernthal, Chandler Riggs, Laurie Holden, Emily Kinney, Iron E Singleton and others. It now resides in the home of a good friend!

Next, I built a "barn door" from reclaimed wood and actual antique barn door hinges, and nailed the hide to it with hand-smithed nails.
But... Sophia was still needed in this piece. I commissioned Dark Knite Boutique to sculpt Sophia's eye and hand to be attached to the door from behind.

I wanted to create a tribute to that particular episode. First, the design (not mine, it was something I saw on a Walking Dead t-shirt) was a skull comprised of zombies from the show, on a full deerskin. Zombies are fun to burn on buckskin because the 3D texture makes them look real!
