Cecily has to navigate all the perils of working too close to wizard academia at Oakenfield Castle. But, as much as she tries to stay out of the wizards’ way, she can’t ignore the mysterious magical bond she develops with Ashton Fairfax, the brooding scholar of magical creatures.

So, I guess I combined both interests and wrote CECILY! A story about how the lowliest cook made such a ruckus in the kitchen downstairs she caught a wizard’s attention upstairs.

I also love the upstairs / downstairs dynamic of shows like Downton Abbey.

I love fantasy so much, especially stories set at magic schools, but as much as I’d have loved to attend a school like that, I’ve always wondered what life would be like as the person who has to clean and cook for the wizards who go there.
