@katestarbird.bsky.social the years leading up to 2024, I read many books about 1930’s Germany. I couldn’t wrap my head around the citizens embrace of Hitler, but I could clearly see the many parallels to today. I’m heartbroken and devastated that this is what democracy brings.

I don’t recall hearing about the Voice of America, until reading this passage this morning. Pol Pot admits that the Voice of America refuted his propaganda.

Why was the gender gap with young people so significant in the last election?

I’ve been following you (and donating) for years. It’s clear campaigns cannot follow through on strategies that require years of investment. I very much hope you are the next DNC chair - we need long-term solutions, not short-term campaign blitzes.

I read To Start a War a couple years ago and it was informative to how we got here. My takeaway was how much the administration was run on conspiracy theories even in the face of evidence that counters the narrative. I highly recommend @draperrobert.bsky.social book.

Completely agree! I’ve been following Ben for years. The progress he’s made and successes he’s achieved MUST be replicated. I think he’s been mentoring Anderson Clayton of NC. DNC seems like a very natural and logical move to build mini-Bens all over the country.
