I've decided to take control of my digital memories and self-host a google photos alternative on my Raspberry Pi. It was a fun project :)

I'm really curious to go deep about freedom of speech and the idea of freedom of reach.
Any book, article or video recommendations are welcome!

Some sort of "Community Notes" should be available on every social media. Can't comment about the implementation, but the idea is very important.

bluesky request.

do not follow or reward quote-doomers. people who quote an article and only add something like "you have no idea how bad this is" or "it's over" or "say goodbye to everything you love".

they succeed from your stress. they're bringing you down with them. stay awake; not like this.

Does anybody pays for ground.news?
I found their concept really interesting, but I'd like to hear the opinion of other people.

I vote slop!

If you don't know what it is:
"Slop is the measure of excess or looseness in a system, often ref. to unwanted play or movement. It can apply to mech. systems, where components aren't tightly fitted, or to data or timing margins in computing, indicating leeway or imprecision."

Right?
