I have only now discovered that if you use mail-in voting this year, go to the window at the post office to ensure your ballot is postmarked that day.
This is important because they have stopped the practice of post-marking items on the same day they were dropped off.
Will repost periodically.

Donald Trump has ordered troops to invade Poland.
Edit: I'm very sorry, it was "Portland", not "Poland".

@nbcnews.com I tuned into NBC News to see coverage of the Charlie Kirk thing, but I was also interested in the horrific school shooting. I wanted at least a mention of Nepal. Instead, I saw thirty minutes of coverage about Kirk and but only 5 minutes worth of info.

Today marks the 234th anniversary of the United States Constitution. Let us keep this in mind when we see what Trump says at the State of The Union. I expect it to provoke the urge to throw things and shout.
Can anyone see smoke on the horizon?

I have just notified my associates on the Meta apps, Facebook and Threads that I am pretty much done there. I will have a look every now and then for messages, but no more engagement there.

What was the first science fiction novel you ever read? I remember reading "The Star Kings" by Edmund Hamilton from 1947. A ridiculous space opera I remember fondly. It involved time travel, mind swapping, galactic intrigue. Great and cringy simultaneously. #scifi #books

When I was working in Midtown Manhattan, I always loved coming across fascinating things that you don't see elsewhere. Toynbee tiles are like that except you can find them in some other places. #NYC #Toynbee #ToynbeeTiles #manhattan #NewYork en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toynbee...
