A journal, constantly being filled up by Shen Qingqiu's notes about things he's discovered when out and about in the world.
His notes seem to focus mostly on Fauna (both demonic and non-demonic, as well as strange phenomena. Qinghua took over the plant and minerals side of things.

System will overtake SQQ in two scenarios:
* If SQQ explicitly reveals the existence and full extent of System.
* If major plot points or characters vital to the "fabric of the world" are in danger.
