Thank you so much. I am proud of myself, but I’m also scared. I am switching insurance companies and hopefully it would be approved on that insurance plan.

I was lucky enough to get on it. I have already lost 30 pounds in five months and now I’m crying my heart out because I won’t be able to get in anymore.

This is not a win for everyone. I am on this medication and Blue Cross Blue Shield is no longer going to cover my cost. I will have to pay $750 a month for 2025. So I pay $600 a month and health insurance and now on top of that I can’t afford to pay $750 a month for my medication.

It’s actually hurting the people that are on it now with insurance because the insurance companies are no longer gonna cover it for the rest of us

They already are Blue Cross Blue Shield is no longer going to cover it. They’re only gonna cover 60% so it’s $750 out-of-pocket.

That ain’t gonna work out too good for the rest of us. I’m on Wegovy covered under federal Blue Cross Blue Shield. Blue Cross Blue Shield is no longer gonna cover it and all other insurance companies are following suit.
