Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine I would get to see, and listen, to him play that song. It wasn’t even on the schedule!! He just felt like it, and I hope to remember this experience for the rest of my life ☺️ When I frame my pamphlet and ticket, I’ll share pics!!

At one point in the concert, he pointed at the piano, and started playing One Summers Day. I spent months learning that song on the piano thanks to Saori, to my music teacher’s dismay (he wasn’t a European composer, so she had no interest)
It was so stunning, I had tears in my eyes!

A core memory of mine is learning his music thru one of my only highschool friends, Saori. She was a transfer student from Japan. She didn’t speak much English, but played piano beautifully. We were at the same musical skill level, so we spent most days practicing language and piano together.

I’m glad it was still sticky enough to get smushed in your case!! (I frequently do this as well hehe)
