This is fascinating and confirming. Pre celiac diagnosis I would massively crave gluten. Like, I could eat most of a box of cereal in a sitting. I am now suspicious of anything I have an intense craving for lol.

Yes the regulatory landscape is very much a blind men and the elephant situation.
Lots to do on that front, which is why language for that yes and approach is important. Let’s use as many tools from the toolbox as we have.

This conversation must be global and there are lots of other countries where we can also move to regulate — and to build institutions, agencies, and organizations for the enforcement of existing and new laws.

It depends what we’re talking about.
Bipartisan regulatory movement at state and fed levels would be appropriate for a variety of components of the info ecosystem (eg KYC, lemon laws, consumer protection, antitrust). I agree that the main efforts to date have been hapless but we can do much more.
