It’s a noticeable design trend during the 2010’s that was misattributed to calarts. There are design trends across every decade & it’s not deep, the internet just likes to turn every opinion into a scorched earth battleground

Your floors look great !!! Stripping the 2 coats paint was a huge pain but was really happy to find the wood floor under the carpet :) & definitely feels satisfying :D
