Hate to break it to you but that’s sounding like a good deal to me right about now. The only eggs not completely sold out (albeit one rung up from the absolute cheapest grocery store near me) was $12 night before last. 😩

Dire as it may be, political is not the only type of power or action we need. I think asking 1930s Germans they’d tell us the same thing and urge us to learn from their mistakes… pretty sure a lot of the ones who survived actually have. statuskuo.substack.com/p/is-somebod...

Finally got to see @anidifranco.bsky.social tonight. Her music helped me survive the transition to adulthood & so many challenging moments since. She played a new song, “You Forgot to Speak Up,” I’d never heard before, or maybe I had but it was sometime last June… things felt different.

Woah, thank you! Realizing that this space is only as good/safe as we allow it to be. If we don’t look out for each other, online or in the streets, we’ll get bullied back into isolation and feeling powerless.

Meant to add this screenshot of one of their slides in the app store 😻 The list of tech & financial admin tasks to stop supporting our oppressors is growing but I keep reminding myself these are minor inconveniences that need to get prioritized.
