Believe it or not there's a shooting range in the basement of Brixton Recreation Centre. I've been there. When the Rec was on the drawing board c.1970 the public voted on what sports it should offer. The range was hardly used. It was closed after a couple of hundred shots were fired.

Coal & the English class system are part of it. The North had the coal, so it got wealthy mill towns, which were scorned as dirty & uncouth by the educated, sophisticated south. After 200 years of prosperity the towns were ruined by foreign competition. We southerners didn't care. We still don't.

This is shameful nonsense. What he's really doing is undermining the governments which support Zelensky, because he's made a deal with Putin. Why else does he meet Putin so much?

But the invasion started in 2014, and it was the people's desire for EU membership which triggered it. How can we get more people to understand this? Putin feared he'd lose public support if Ukraine enjoyed a Poland-style boost to living standards from the EU.

Did he mention that some claimants can't work? He reminded me of my former friends who think that ME/CFS and depression are not real illnesses. I had to change the channel. I already think about suicide every day. I shouldn't have watched a minute of the programme.

It's impossible to see a psychiatrist in my area unless you are flagged as suicidal. I didn't know that, so I spent years trying to get a referral the usual way. I finally saw one when social services said I was 'in crisis'. A 20 minute chat and he left me on the meds I was already on.
