I get audiobooks that I've already read in print. It helps me get to sleep when I'm anxious. Having someone read me Lord of the Rings or Discworld shuts out intrusive thoughts. And the narrators for the Discworld books are fantastic.

Actually I checked. I remembered I have a US audible account by mistake, there's 3 versions included with an Audible subscription, this one that's 12 hours is the full boo, but there's also full cast adaptations available with the sub too (I'd start with the book though)

I think there might be a free version on Audible if you have a subscription. Do your libraries have a digital option too? Although that also probably has a waiting list. I think they only have a certain number of licences or something like that. Not sure how digital copies work really.

I do feel sorry for whoever has to pick up the mess that trump has made because it's such a shit show. I'm currently struggling myself with the whole St. Patrick's day thing and politicians going from here in Ireland over there for it. I, along with many others here don't want it to happen now.

I think you're more optimistic than me lol. I am not sure I believe they have the critical thinking skills to learn anything from this. They'll just say "why can't Jordan and Egypt take them?" and "not even the other Muslim countries want them" and so on. They are empathy free and far from bright.
