I posted on X that I felt out of place growing up in the South because the hatred and racism around me made no sense. Now I feel trapped and unable to leave even though I want to. I figure I'm going to wake up to some really nasty comments.

Just to make sure I am understanding this correctly, when our one year notice to leave the WHO is over, the USA will join only Liechtenstein as the two countries on Earth that are not members? Appalling and disappointing our country has sunk so low to deny science and facts.

Living with both depression and anxiety, it's really difficult not to feel despondent over the lack of human kindness around me. To find out that Christian churches are considering empathy a sin makes me wonder if humans should continue to exist anymore. People seem to enjoy hurting others now.
