Here's the book they gave me

Went to a museum in Hudiksvall today while I was there, and I got to see these cool staveless runestones. The first one was out in the open, the second one we got special permission to see in the basement where it was stored away. They also gave me a book on runes for free :>

A viking axe covered by runes. The runes are short twig Younger futhark, and are meant to read "Allfather Odin, lend me your strength", with the word strength being on the axe edge and the rest on the handle. The axe is striking a skull, and flowers on thorny vines connect the two. On top of the axe head sits a raven, staring to the right of the page at the moon. At the bottom of the handle there's a cloth tied on, that flows in a U shape to the left of the axe, goes behind it, and comes out on the right

This isn't my best work, most of it is pretty scuffed honestly, but I thought I'd share some of the sketches I did today while trying to break out of my art block

To the right of the draugr, is Jinx from Arcane. Just the head. On the bottom half of the page we have Jolyne Cujoh from JoJo on the right, no arms or legs because I just didn't get around to drawing them, and to the left is someone wearing a nasal spangenhelm with a chainmail aventail covering their face. On their back is a round shield and an axe, and behind them are some decorative runes. Only the neck up is drawn. Between all of this, in the middle, is a viking raven banner.
