Yup, I lost my union job when he bought the newspaper I was working for. He opened a parallel newspaper in another state. When those non-union, low-wage workers learned our jobs, the union shop was closed.

I didn't go to college, couldn't afford it. Got a job thru my high school typing class that led to other jobs. I could only go so far with my experience. Most employers wouldn't consider me because I didn't have a degree. Worked with many people with a degree that weren't very smart.🤷🏼
