I'd say release order but play CoM BEFORE 2. (Days is interchangeable but I'd recommend play Days before 2 as well) So the order that 1.5 & 2.5 have them in the selection screen. Same with 2.8. 3D then 0.2 followed by Back Cover.

Games getting a PS5 port with a old disc. Not a $15 upgrade (some games like Horizon and Spider-Man are justified as they come with DLCs) Or a game like Until Dawn not having an upgrade path at all. Or Yooka-Laylee only being $10 off if you own the OG.
