If you don't know who’s in your coworking space, neither do your other members.

So everyone’s walking around doing the polite nod in the hallway that's a red flag that people aren’t thriving in your space.

This is a calming, must-listen.
I'd encourage everyone who thinks this administration is abhorrent to listen to this episode (14m)

I've sent this to some of my most mainstream media-skeptical friends, my most informed peers, my most news-guzzling pals alike. All felt it was shockingly useful.

People can copy what you do, but they can't copy who you are.

If you want to supercharge your brand and business building efforts, lean in to the things people can't copy:

- Your vision
- Your values
- Your vibe
- Your experience
- Your community
- Your story

Step forward and lead.

It’s who you are.

Community building is simple, but not easy. Here are 3 truths:

1. If you don’t know who’s in your community, neither do your other members.

2. Real connection takes time and many touch points.

3. You have a unique role as the community builder but you’re still part of the community.

Keep going.

Once more:

“Speaking assertively is not a substitute for reflecting deeply.”
We pay too much attention to the most confident voices—and too little attention to the most thoughtful ones.

Conviction is not a sign of credibility. Speaking assertively is not a substitute for reflecting deeply.

It's better to learn from complex thinkers than smooth talkers.
