And it was only a year ago he couldn’t find enough accolades and praises for him - oh how things have changed in recent months

American style politics which the current conservatives are copying will hopefully not work- we see the impact of hostile and authoritarian policies from the US and most Canadians will not tolerate the disrespect and threats that arise from such behaviour- at least I hope not

If it does it’s not very well known

Welcome to B.C. politics- and it just got worse today - and watching the provincial proceedings and question period I am embarrassed to say this is happening in my province - we need a recall mechanism to get rid of them here

With the mess this party is in - an election on the horizon maybe in order for the opposition NDP to secure an overwhelming majority is a possibility- when half your caucus says go and you don’t well it’s seriously messed up politics here

Absolutely- we went outside from early morning to evening- drank from garden hose and my cousins and I made sleds from cardboard and slid down hills created from coal mines - and then had to be hosed down before we were allowed back in side - amazing we are still alive and healthy despite that 🤷‍♀️

And when his message around quitting includes please leave my family is alone is very concerning- young up and coming politicians don’t bail this soon unless something was seriously wrong

Oh my I cannot believe he doesn’t realize that we have a video- sure sounds like denial much like down south politics- the cracks are happening and hopefully they will get bigger and he will go away sooner than later- one can wish

He just can’t get Trudeau out of his head and he is just once again playing to his base - very embarrassing and pathetic- many of his comments have his week have mirrored some down south - retaliation against political opponents and now eliminating DEI where have we heard that 🤷‍♀️

He seriously cannot get Trudeau out of his head - I cannot understand the fixation he has for the former prime minister- jealousy maybe - his accusations against the RCMP play into his base and frankly an embarrassment to his credibility

The previous prime minister stood up to him the only person to do so and the end result- Canada was hit hard with mega tariffs and so I give the current prime minister a little more credit and leeway- transformative can mean many things- including negative impacts and decisions

He only mentioned him like a half a dozen or more times today again in his news conference that was another rants and rave with no solutions offered

A great example- not- to the younger generation who we try to teach about on line bullying and the harms that it causes to many teens and young adults that die every year as a result of bullying and harassment- what message does this send to young people - so very sad that this is being normalized

It was interesting to see the prime minister respond to the opposition leadership’s comments on that make believe tax talk today - we don’t have taxes on any fresh food - maybe snacks like pop and chips but seriously and the media lets the opposition leader get away with that lie every time

I cannot understand the mentality of those who let him getaway with threatening sovereign nations and do absolutely nothing and wonder why we Canadians choose to follow our own destiny and alliances and that don’t bow down to his authoritarian regime-listen to what he said about American cities

And still no push back or hard questions from the so called media or reporters- continue lies and misinformation and no accountability he hasn’t changed- very sad and maddening that no one every holds him accountable but will criticize every word the prime minister says

Once again he is totally disrespectful and I ask again why he is being asked to speak at these events when it is clear he is here to distract and disrupt trade negotiations and continue to be rude and not listen to Canadians- time for him to go back home and not come back ever

Yep we didn’t invite him here to insult us so if he is unhappy go back home sorry and seriously why do we give him speaking engagements where he trashes Canada every time he speaks
