2) Still refuse to provide a connection flight that lands at a reasonable hour, or provide necessary hotel/taxi -- said only option is we can queue at the Bogota airport counter to ask again :)

They now agreed to follow up through email on potential compensation, but still refuse to take any immediate action, i.e. Avianca asks all passengers, including crying and sick kids, to sit through the night in the cold

#Avianca counter informed that complementary lounge access tonight will therefore be provided -- after waiting in long queue at the lounge, guess what, lounge said that's not the case :D
