No & I know. I know I read several letters posted online at that link (and others) from George Washington to Nathaniel Gist and from Gist to Washington & linked only a few in my tree with the intention of going back and saving the letters. 1 or more of the letters referred to Gist as cousin.

The party has been sick for years (post Obama) and shows all signs of dying. We the people need to demand dynamic new youthful leadership immediately!

I have voted for Dick Durbin in every election. Most Democrats are proud of him here, but he is 80 and may not run again. Democrats seriously need to promote and mentor younger generations or lose.

The George Washington Papers (and letters) collection and other Founders Online papers are also gone (the images). I wish I had saved all the papers and letters of my ancestors the Gists to & President Washington, and other founders. I have to wonder if the actual documents are safe?
