Our neighbor has an antique spinning wheel that's been in her family for 2 or more generations. She asked me to look at it. I didn't have enough knowledge but gave her a bag of grease, oil and some essentials to help her. And I gave her a few contacts that can help her. I hope she reaches out.

My sister observed the worst behavior possible while volunteering today. This "partner" walked into the store somewhat perturbed. He said he wouldn't drive her around any longer since the 15 minutes in a busy shop was more like 25. WTF?

I'll be attending a fiber arts retreat this week. The organizers don't promote it to the public. They appear to rely on return attendees. The instructors are top notch I always learn something new. It's frustrating to see vendors not returning due to poor advertising.
