I live in the Sierra Foothills. While it's always been majority Republican, the MAGA cult is strong. DOGE, anti Trans, anti immigrant, school boards. All the ultra conservative electeds use the mega churches, all know each other, exchange seats as they move from school boards to city council, etc.
